Personal Activities
Personal Activities
Personal activity supports are an important category of support that can be included in an NDIS participant’s plan. These supports are designed to help individuals with disability to engage in daily activities and achieve greater independence in their personal lives. To be eligible for personal activity supports, individuals must have a current NDIS plan and be approved for funding in the relevant support categories. This support can include assistance with personal care and hygiene, mobility and movement, communication, and self-care tasks.
To be eligible for Personal Activity Supports, an individual must be an NDIS participant and have funding approval for assistance with daily living (core supports) or improved daily living (capacity building) in their NDIS plan.
