Cleaning services
Cleaning services fall under the Assistance with Daily Living category of the NDIS Core Supports. This category includes services that are deemed reasonable and necessary, and directly related to a participant’s disability. The goal is to improve the overall quality of life for the participant by supporting their daily living activities.
Cleaning services can include general cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, and bedding. The services offered will vary depending on the individual’s specific needs and preferences.
WHAT WE OFFER?
Ream Community Services can assist you with a variety of cleaning services in and around your home to improve your quality of life. These services may include, but are not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Sanitizing and dusting hard surfaces
- Organizing clothing, possessions, or food items
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen areas
- Washing and drying dishes
- Laundry services, such as washing, folding, and ironing clothes
- Deep cleaning of furniture, walls, windows, and floors
- Thorough cleaning of ovens and refrigerators.
At Ream Community Services, we offer a range of cleaning supports as part of our NDIS Core Supports. Our goal is to work closely with our clients to develop personalized care plans that prioritize their well-being and independence. We understand that every individual is unique and that their needs may differ, so we tailor our services to meet those needs.
CLEANING SERVICES
Our cleaning services may include general cleaning, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, laundry, and bedding. We work with our clients to identify the specific areas of their home that need attention and develop a plan that meets those needs.
If you are able to complete these activities while living with your disability, or if any of these services requires you to hire a professional that a person without a disability would also need to hire, then it is not covered by the NDIS. If a participant requires cleaning services that are not covered by the NDIS, we can provide referrals to other providers who may be able to assist them in achieving their goals.
